Matthew David Harrison, age 43, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Cedar Park, Texas. Matthew David was born on September 6, 1981, to Joseph and Carole Harrison in Queens, New York. Matthew was the youngest of seven children: Tim, Joe, Maureen (deceased), Christine, Kim, and Mike.
Matthew attended Leander High School and Lanier High School. Matt went on to hold many positions in the food and entertainment industry. Soon after, Matt became a licensed security guard. At the time of his passing,
Matt was a part owner of Bastille Security Group.
Matt spent much of his time laughing at any form of comedy there was and watching every movie he could get a hold of. He enjoyed stand up comedians like Bill Burr, Adam Sandler, and Chris Farley. Matt was a funny guy who had a joke for everything, and everyone was fair game.
If Matt wasn’t laughing at a joke or joking with you, he was watching movies. He was always in the loop on what movies were being made, who was starring in them and happily anticipated the release date of any movie.
Matthew was a caring brother, supportive uncle, and a true friend. He will be missed but never forgotten. Matt will continue to bring smiles to the faces of his loved ones. Within every memory, there was always something to laugh at. For that, we thank him.
Rest in peace, Matt.
The Harrison Family will be celebrating Matt’s life on Saturday, April 5th, 2025.
A graveside service for Matthew will be held at 11:00 AM at Bagdad Cemetery. 400 N Bagdad Rd, Leander, TX 78641. A celebration of life will follow at 1501 Spring Peony Ct, Pflugerville, TX 78660
