February 8, 1951 – November 20, 2020
Robert (Bob) Linear was born in Sweeny, Texas to parents Mary Lee Linear & Roosevelt Linear.
He is survived by his wife AE 0K, his brother James Linear (Tina), and his sister Ethel Swindall (Michael). Robert also has many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews) along with many cousins. Although he was from a large family of seven, there are only two family members surviving to date.
Robert grew up in the small community town of Sweeny, Texas, graduating there from High School. Robert was an incredibly quiet and soft-spoken person, and never bothered anyone was a good guy. He was not affiliated with any religious organization.
After graduation, Robert received a draft notification to join the Air Force where he worked various positions such as communication, travel etc. Robert served in the air Force for a total of 24 years before retiring.
Robert had many accomplishments such as:
Attended Wharton County Junior College
Honorable discharge from Air Force-Retired
Worked for Samsung for 10 years and retired from there
Robert met his wife AE OK in Korea, and they were married in 1993 at the Air Force base in South Dakota. They later moved to Austin, Texas where they lived until his passing. Robert was a loving, protective husband and good provider to AEOK & she was/is a very devoted, loving, industrious wife. They took care of each other for their 27 years of marriage; both seem happy with each other and they built a good marriage together.
Robert passed on November 20th at 3:00 P.M. after dealing with several health challenges. Robert will be greatly missed by his wife, family and all those who got the privilege to know him.
The Family would like to express our deepest gratitude for all the continued support during this time of great loss. Our family is truly touched with all the warm, kind, and generous gestures displayed. A Committal Service with Military Honors will be held at Central Texas State Veteran’s Cemetery on Friday, December 11th at 2:00 P.M.
May he rest until as Revelation 21:4 says, below:
And he will wipe out every from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry no pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.
