Vicki Letha Adams, 76, passed away in Cedar Park, Texas on January 4th, 2023. In her final days, Vicki flew her loved ones in to be by her side. She was the same humorous, loving, selfless woman that everyone knew her to be. Even up to her final words, “Tell everyone I love them.” followed by her sticking her tongue out at us.
Vicki Letha Christian was born on August 5th, 1946 in Los Angeles California. Born to her loving parents Frederic Cocklin Christian & Mila Hannah Strawn Christian. She was the second born of their three daughters.
Vicki graduated from Glendora High School in 1964 & attended Citrus College. She was a member of The Girl Scouts & 4H, winning many awards for sewing and cooking. She also made amazing wedding cakes, was an extraordinary hunter, and even modeled swimsuits for May Company.
Vicki dedicated her life to taking care of her daughter Lisa & any family member that may have needed care. After raising Lisa, Vicki met her husband Steven Adams Sr. Together they ran a successful trucking business, enjoyed trips in their RV, and always made sure to get the family together for the most amazing holidays.
Vicki would not want a boring obituary. She would probably prefer it to start and end with a dirty joke. Making people laugh and feel loved was what Vicki enjoyed most. If she could make someone smile, her job was done. She also loved bowling in her league, cooking, nature, football, and helping the less fortunate any chance she got.
Vicki wasn’t only an amazing mother and wife. Vicki was the most selfless human. She prayed every night for almost every single person she had ever met. She so truly just wanted peace and happiness for everyone. During her final days in the hospital, Vicki would pray for every baby that was born while she was there to be a happy & healthy human. Her heart was weak, but oh so big.
Vicki is survived by her daughter, Lisa Sutton, & her son Steven Adams Jr. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren Hannah, Christopher, Heather, Hailey, and Patrick. Vicki leaves behind her sisters, Freddie Watson and Christie Roy along with many amazing great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends, and her dog, California Racoon “Cal”.
Vicki did not wish to have a funeral. She requested that her family take a vacation in her honor. Her remains along with her late husband will be taken to their favorite place to visit. Please celebrate Vicki’s life in the way that makes you feel closest to her. She would encourage a little joke, or maybe even some tequila. Cheers to a wonderful human being who was truly one-of-a-kind. You are so loved, by so many. We will all carry on your spirit with us for the rest of our lives.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.wcfishleander.com for the Adams family.
