Charles Theodore Brandt, Jr., 76, Lebanon, passed away on Saturday January 10, 2026 in Above and Beyond at the Knights home in Allentown. Hew was the husband of Kathleen M. (Haas) Brandt to whom he was married for 56 years in October. He was a retired First Sergeant in the U.S.Army where he served in Vietnam in field artillery units and was also retired from the Dauphin County Prison as a corrections officer. Charles was a 2nd degree black belt in the discipline of Taekwondo; he loved to bowl, play pool, but mostly enjoyed his grandchildren. In addition to his wife he is survived by children: Charles T. Brandt III and wife Laurie; Tracy A. Brandt; grandchildren: Mercedes, Charlene, Austyn and Cortney; great-grandchildren: Madysen, Alex, Bentley, Eliana and Joey; and enjoyed a 54-year friendship with Teri Hill and her son Aaron; Joseph Sobbing, and Simon Bohr and other long-time friends and families. Funeral services will be Saturday January 17, 2026 at 11:00am. in the Rohland Funeral Home 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 with a viewing to be held from 10:00am. until the time of service. Interment with full military honors will be on Tuesday January 20, 2026 at 2:00pm in the National Cemetery at Ft. Indiantown Gap.
