She is the beloved daughter of Mary Ware (Todd Reigle) and the late Marlon Atkins. She is survived by her siblings Michael Ware (Stevi), Alexie Ware, Jeremy Morris, and Tyler Atkinson. Desiree was a proud mother to her daughter, Destiny (Darian), and an adoring grandmother to Maddex and Milani Klick. She also leaves behind her nephew, Damian Ware, along with many extended family members who will forever carry her memory.
Desiree had a personality that filled every room—whether you were ready for it or not. She loved being the center of attention (and let’s be honest, she usually was). She had a sharp sense of humor, a quick wit, and a way of making people laugh when they least expected it.
She loved oceans, sharks, and anything that sparked curiosity. She appreciated intelligence, sarcasm, and people who could keep up with her. She was caring, always willing to help others, and deeply cherished her family—though she might have shown it in her own unique, sometimes hilarious way.
Desiree was artistic, spiritual, and unapologetically herself. She lived a life that was real, bold, and never boring. She found happiness in being exactly who she was—and encouraged others (sometimes loudly) to do the same.
More than anything, she will be remembered for her presence—strong, unforgettable, and impossible to replace.
A private family memorial will be held at a later date for family and friends to come together and celebrate her life—likely filled with laughter, stories, and the kind of memories that only Desiree could leave behind.
The family wishes a special thank you to the church Freedom in Christ fellowship.
