Donna Jean McGarvey

Donna worked for Grimes’ Chicken for many years before retiring. On May 9, 1964, she married Galen Herbert McGarvey, who preceded her in death after 48 years of marriage. In 2014, Donna became a member of the Bunker Hill Evangelical Congregational Church (Beep- Beep!). Donna was like Mighty Mouse; she was small in stature, but strong and formidable in attitude.

She is survived by stepsons; Dennis (Janet), Gregg, Gary and Steve McGarvey; stepdaughters, Sandy (Barry) Herr and Gale (Ray) Whelan; 13 grandchildren; and many beloved great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Galen; brothers, Jack Resibois and Stanley Rogers Jr.; sisters, JoAnn Myers, Catherine Roark, and Darlene Kay Rogers; and daughter in law, Nanci McGarvey.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 11:00 am, with visitation beginning at 10:00 am until time of service in Bunker Hill E.C.C, 2208 PA-72, Lebanon, PA 17046. Interment will follow in Bunker Hill Evangelical Cemetery.
