Douglas R. Dean

Douglas R. Dean, 73, of Lebanon, PA, died Friday, September 3, 2010 in Manor Care, Pottsville, PA. He was the husband of Carol E. Hamil Dean with whom he celebrated 52 years of marriage. He was born August 27, 1937 in Muskegon, Michigan a son of the late Oliver and Kathryn Robinson Dean. Douglas was a product engineer developer for Leggett and Platt, Inc. of Covington, GA and a member of the Bible Fellowship Church of Lebanon, PA. Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter, Teresa L. Williams of Cleona, PA and her daughter Susie R. Williams; brothers, Arthur husband of Doris Dean of IN; Larry Dean of Mich.; sister in laws, Christine wife of John Venlet and Fran wife of Lyle Sebright both of GA; brother in laws, James husband of Janet Hamil of Mich.; John husband of Jeri Hamil of TN. He was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Dean, Bruce Dean and brother in law, Cliff husband of Bev Hamil of ND. Memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 11, 2010 at 2:00PM in the South Gwinnett Baptist Church, 3400 Rosebud Road, Loganville, GA 30052.
