Gerald Jerry P. Lynch

Gerald P. “Jerry” Lynch, Jr., 47, Lebanon, died in his residence after a lengthy battle with cancer on Tuesday December 28, 2010. He was the husband of Cathy E. Long Lynch, with whom he celebrated a 16th wedding anniversary and a love affair for 27 years. He was born in Lebanon on May 19, 1963 a son of the late Gerald P. Lynch, Sr. and the late Doris V. Binner Lynch. He was a 1981 graduate of Lebanon High School and was employed by the Lebanon School District for 18 years. He enjoyed working in his yard and making home improvements. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughters: Alicia E. Lynch, Lebanon; Janelle Lynch, Lebanon; granddaughter: Iyana Davis, Lebanon; sisters: Sharon wife of Wade Weatherholtz; Judy wife of Mike Wenzler; brothers: William Johnson, Sr., Gene Shaffer, Paul Lynch, Timothy Mentzer, Sr.; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Friday 1:00 P.M. in the Rohland Funeral Home, 5th & Cumberland Sts., Lebanon where a viewing will be held beginning at 12:00 P.M. Interment will be made in Grand View Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Penn State Hershey Medical Center Dept. of Oncology, Mail Code CH35, 500 University Drive, P.
