All the keeps coming in my mind is how the last thing you told me is you wanted to meet Nayeli & Alessandra, and that you love me and wanna see me do right this time and be a good mother. I’m still in such disbelief that you were called to heaven so soon. I hope your watching because I promise to make you proud. I love you Grandma may you rest peacefully with the angels.

Grandma, 
You were the matriarch. The reason we are a family. 

I remember when I was little you gave me a Christmas tree that you had collected ornaments for- for years before gifting it to me. I remember exactly how I felt when you gave it to me. I remember thinking how sweet of you to do this for me. It made me feel so special. A few summers ago, I needed a bridesmaids dress altered and you were so kind to help. I remember watching you fix the dress & listening to you talk. In that moment, I truly was absorbing everything you said, the sound of your voice, the feel in my heart because even then- I knew this memory would always mean so much to me. 

I am going to miss your hugs. You always hugged with such true love. Every time we saw each other you just wanted to know that I was doing well. You always wanted your children & grandchildren to be happy. I really wish we had more time together. 

Chelsey recently posted a picture of you, with the chalkboard in your kitchen, that everyone signed when they came to see you. When I saw that picture I said to myself- I’m gonna go see her & put my name on there too. I never considered that it was not going to be possible. I just hope you know how much we all love you. How much we’re going to miss you. 

I truly pray you Rest In Peace. Heaven couldn’t wait for you.
