

Gordon A. Ebright, 88, Lebanon, passed away on Wednesday April 23, 2025 in his residence. He was the loving husband of Laura M. (Hainly) Ebright with whom he celebrated a 64th wedding anniversary in March. He was born in Lebanon on September 27, 1936, a son of the late Walter S. and Ethel M. Ayers Ebright. He was a 1954 graduate of Lebanon High School. Gordon joined the U.S. Air Force at the age of 17. He was a crew member on the RB36 SAC from 1954-1958. He was a veteran of the Cold War and later served with the 201st Red Horse Squadron, PA National Guard at Fort Indiantown Gap as an NCO in the Carpenter Shop. He retired as MSgt with 25 years of military service. He was a member of the 201st RHS (Red Horse Society) Alumni Association; a member of the Annville American Legion and a member of the Air Force Sergeants Association. He was retired from ALCOA with 30 years of service. Gordon was a life member of Messiah Lutheran Church where he served on the Congregation Council and also served as chairman of the Building Construction Committee, co-chairman of the Property Committee and served on the Social Committee. Gordon was well known for his master woodworking abilities. He was a Master Craftsman. In addition to his wife he is survived by a nephew David T. Ebright. Gordon was preceded in death by a brother Thomas W. Ebright. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 5, 2025 at 10:00 am in the Rohland Funeral Home, 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA 17042 with a viewing held from 9:00 am to the time of service. Interment will full military honors will be in the National Cemetery at Ft. Indiantown Gap. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions can be made to a charity of your choice.
