Joann M. Sullivan, 86, Lebanon, passed away on Thursday November 7, 2024 in Spang Crest Manor. She was the loving wife of Patrick T. Sullivan with whom she celebrated a 65th wedding anniversary in August. She was born in Lebanon on April 20, 1938 a daughter of the late Lawrence H. and Stella M. Frantz Rissinger. Joann was a retired banker having first worked for the former Lebanon Valley Trust Company until it later became Wachovia Bank. Joann was a volunteer for many years at the voting polls in South Lebanon. She was a faithful member of St. Mark’s UCC where she had served as a deacon and on the consistory as well as sang in the choir and taught Sunday School. She also worked tirelessly in the kitchen during the summer VBS programs. She enjoyed babysitting her grandchildren as they grew and loved caring for her pets. In addition to her husband she is survived by children: Cynthia M. Sullivan; Patrick A. Sullivan and wife Kim; Pamela J. wife of Thomas Manbeck; grandchildren: Austin T. Sullivan and wife Courtney; Aidan L. Sullivan; Thomas Joshua Manbeck; Caroline J. Manbeck; great-grandchildren: Parker A. and Finn P. Sullivan; sister: Debra S. wife of Steven Litecky. She was preceded in death by a brother: Terrence G. Rissinger. Funeral services will be held Friday November 15, 2024 at 10:00 am. in St. Mark’s UCC 426 N. 8th St., Lebanon, PA 17046 with a visitation from 9:00am. until the time of service. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to her church or to the Humane Society of Lebanon County 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
