John H Stoudt

John H. Stoudt, 99, of Mt. Gretna, passed away on Sunday, November 2nd, 2014 in Cornwall Manor. He was born on June 26th, 1915 in Lebanon, a son of the late Charles L. and Mary Jane Brownsweiger Stoudt. John was the husband of the late Margaret D. “Peg” Stoudt. Mr. Stoudt was retired from the Federal Government where he was employed in various management positions and Plant Supervisor for the Lebanon County Workshop. He was a member of the Roman – Hatheway Lodge No. 0223 F&AM, Rome, N.Y.; Charter Member Rotary Club, Mt. Gretna; Quentin Riding Club; Mt. Gretna Fire Co; Past President Mt. Gretna Heights; Mt. Gretna U.M.C. and former Treasurer of Mt. Gretna U.M.C. Surviving is his son: Michael D., husband of Christine A. Stoudt, Lebanon; grandchildren: Peggy Ann Stoudt of Lebanon and Michael E., husband of Adrianna Stoudt, M.N.; great grandchildren: Gabby and Jake Stoudt; several nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents, wife, daughter: Peggy Ann Stoudt, brothers: Charles, Jake, George, Robert, Elmer and Charlie Stoudt, sisters: Ida Stoudt and Mary Jane Heisey. A funeral service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA, 17042 on Thursday, November 6th, 2014 at 10:00AM with a viewing from 9:00AM until the time of the service. A Masonic Service will begin at 8:45AM by the Mt. Olivet Lodge #704 F&AM, Lebanon. Interment will be in the Covenant Greenwood Cemetery.
