Kenneth George Hartman

Kenneth G. Hartman, 78, of Lebanon, passed away on Saturday, August 22nd, 2015 at home. He was born on August 14th, 1937 in Lebanon, a son of the late George D. and Mary Greish Hartman. Kenneth was the husband of the late Barbara E. Baum Hartman who passed away January 9th, 2009. Mr. Hartman was the Water Distribution Superintendent for the Lebanon Bureau of Water where he retired. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a graduate of Lebanon High class of 1956. He was a member of the American Legion Post 559; V.F.W. Post 23; Friendship Fire Company and the 5th Ward. He was an avid Dodgers Fan. He enjoyed gardening; spending time with his family and friends. Surviving are his children: Brian L., husband of Luanne Hartman; Lori J. Powell and Wendy L. Hartman all of Lebanon; granddaughters: Taylor M. and Tara L. Powell; grand dog/ little buddy Cooper; several nieces and nephews. Kenneth was predeceased by a sister and brothers: Joan, Larry, and Terry Hartman. A memorial service will be held in the Rohland Funeral Home Inc. 508 Cumberland St., Lebanon, PA., 17042 on Saturday, August 29th, 2015 at 11:00AM with a visitation from 9:00AM until the time of the service. Contributions may be made to the ALS Association Greater Philadelphia Chapter, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260, Ambler, PA, 19002. Interment will be in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery, 234 Maple St., Lebanon, PA., 17046 on Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at 10:00AM all attending will meet at the cemetery office by 9:45AM.
