
Lewis F. Brown, 96, Lebanon, died Monday July 23, 2012 in Hearthstone Manor. He was the husband of Marie D. Wagner Brown, Lebanon and the late Helen Milewski Brown. He was born in Lebanon on November 12, 1915 a son of the late Elias P. and Mayme B. Barnet Brown. He was a retired sales representative for the Lebanon Paper Company with over 23 years of service. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army during WW2 and was a member of Hebron U. M. Church where he had served as the financial secretary for over 25 years. He was a charter member of the South Lebanon Lions Club and was an avid golfer with 3 career holes in one. In addition to his wife he is survived by a daughter: Marilyn Brown Ryland, NJ; step-daughter: Jean C. Hatton, MI; granddaughter: Melissa Skrabal, NJ; step-grandchildren: Shawn and Andrew Kokitus; great-grandchildren: Rebecca Cusick, Elizabeth Cusick, William Cusick, Katharine Cusick, Rachael Cusick, William Skrabal, Robert Skrabal, Sarah Skrabal; nieces and nephews. In addition to his first wife he was preceded in death by a grandson: Stephen Ryland and granddaughter: Sue Cusick; siblings: Pauline Erdman, John Brown, Harrison Brown, George Brown Mark Brown. Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 A.M. from the Hebron U. M. Church, 451 Walnut St., Lebanon, PA 17042 where a viewing will begin at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be made in the Kimmerlings Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to his church or to the South Lebanon Lions Club, c/o Jimmy Hoffmaster, 610 Richfield Dr., Lebanon, PA 17042. The Rohland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
