Mildred Doris Kanoun

Mildred D. Kanoun, 89, Cleona, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025 in the Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital. She was the loving wife of Ray Kanoun for 64 years. Mildred was born in Maple Shade, NJ on April 8, 1936, daughter of the late Wallace and Marie (Evans) Koehler. She attended Moody Bible Institute where she met her husband. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lebanon and participated in women’s ministries. Her entire adult life was spent serving the Lord alongside her beloved husband.

In addition to her husband, Mildred is survived by children: Keith Kanoun and wife Barbara of CT, Karen Kanoun of Warren, and Kathy Kanoun of Lebanon; grandchildren: Rebecca DiPisa and husband Michael, Nathan Kanoun and wife Angie, Savanna Sager, Joshua Kanoun and wife Stephanie, and Sarah Kanoun; great-grandchildren: Endellion, Mireya, Oliver, and Eliana; brothers: Robert Koehler and wife Cheryl, and Wallace Koehler as well as several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by sisters: Marie Young and Ruth Hoover.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 2026 at 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church, 20 Linden Road, Lebanon, PA 17042. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM until the time of service. Interment will be at the National Cemetery at Ft. Indiantown Gap. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to First Baptist Church. The Rohland Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
