Muriel “Connie” Constance Mayberry McDonald of Lebanon, PA passed away on February 8, 2022 at Spang Crest in Lebanon. Born in Cumberland County, Apr. 15, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Lester and Vivian Naomi Fraley Mayberry. Connie was a devoted wife of 67 years to Jack McDonald. Jack and Connie met at Pottsville High School where Jack was the football hero and Connie was the beauty queen. For years Connie was at Jack’s side through his many health challenges and then when Connie was diagnosed with cancer, Jack was by her side every minute. A true love that endured the test of time. Jack predeceased Connie by nine short days and they are together once again. She was preceded in death by her brother, Lester Jodine Mayberry, in 1995. Surviving are her one daughter, Erin M., wife of Mark Hamrick, Princeton, NJ; a brother, Gary Lee Mayberry; a granddaughter, “Kate” E., wife of Henry Foskett, Jersey City, NJ; as well as nieces and nephews. Per Connie’s wishes, there will be no service held. Rohland Funeral, Lebanon, is in charge of arrangements.
