Raymond Kohr

Raymond W. “Raymie” Kohr, 83, Lebanon, passed away on Sunday June 8, 2025. He was the husband of Peggy I. nee Wolfe Kohr with whom he celebrated a 61st wedding anniversary on June 6th. Ramie was born in Lebanon on July 8, 1941 a son of the late Roy C. and Edith I. Mease Kohr. He was a long-time and well- known crossing guard for the city of Lebanon. He also worked at Hershey Park for 25 years. Raymie was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church where he was a member of the Lutheran Brotherhood and served as an usher. He had been an assistant scout leader for Boy Scout Troop 8. He had been a firefighter and was a long-time fire policeman. He had also served as a LHS band parent. In addition to his wife he is survived by daughter: Dawn M. Kohr; granddaughter: Amanda L. Kohr; great-grandson: Michael A. Fairo-Kohr; sister: Arlene Glass; brothers: Carl, Dale, Larry and Edwin Kohr as well as several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother: Roy K. Kohr. Funeral will be held Thursday June 19, 2025 at 10:00 am. in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 723 Lehman St., Lebanon, PA 17046 with a viewing from 9:00 am to the time of service in the church. There will also be a viewing on Wednesday June 18, 2025 in the Rohland Funeral Home from 6 to 8 Pm. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made to his church.
