
Richard “Ric” J. Klick Jr., 59, of Harrisburg passed away on Monday, January 19, 2015 in his residence. He was born in Phoenixville, PA on August 29, 1955, son of the late Richard J. Klick Sr. and Jacqueline J. Hunsicker Klick. He was a member of Temple Ohev Sholom in Harrisburg. Ric played the piano and organ and was a music therapy aid at Harrisburg Hospital. He also was an artist who enjoyed working in the styles of Cubism, Realism Landscapes, Wall Sculptures and Impressionism. He was the past president of the B’Nai B’Rith apartments tenant organization in Harrisburg. He also was a volunteer of the LGTB History Project. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1973 and from the Vo-Tech LPN program in 1975. He worked as an orderly and nurse at Cedar Haven, the Polyclinic Hospital in Harrisburg and the Jewish Nursing Home in Harrisburg. He is survived by his brother: Frank Klick and wife Teri, Lebanon; sisters: Jean D. Shaak, Stevens; Rose wife of Terry Buck, Lebanon and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his close friend of 28 years Eugene Peter Daullary. The Rohland Funeral Home in Lebanon is handling the arraignments.
