Shirley A Weiant

She was a long time member of Friedens Lutheran Church, Myerstown, PA.

Shirley retired from the Hershey Chocolate Factory where she so enjoyed her job making chocolate.

Surviving are children Linda Ann Vickinovac, Sandra Renee wife of James Wolfe, David S. Weiant and Daniel S. Weiant; grandchildren Amanda Quiterio of Harrisburg, PA, Chris Gibble of Lebanon, PA, Steve Gibble of Philadelphia, PA and Alex Weiant of Myerstown, PA. Shirley was blessed with three great-granchildren, Hailey Ann Quiterio of Harrisburg, PA, Stella Gibble of Lebanon, PA and Carter Quiterio of Harrisburg, PA. She is survived by one sister Dorothy Miller Gibson.

Shirley was preceeded in death by brothers Kenneth Schauer of Evanston, IL, Terry Schauer of Lebanon, PA, Marlin (Skip) Schauer of Lebanon, PA, Larry Schauer of Lebanon, PA, sisters Eleanore Beck of Lebaon, PA, Betty Herneisen of Lebanon, PA.

Shirley enjoyed and looked forward to her day at the nail salon. She also enjoyed a lifetime of sewing clothing, performing alterations for everyone. Shirley was a social butterfly; she would always engage folks striking up a conversation and could always be found making others laugh. She had an absolute love for animals, especially cats & dogs. She enjoyed going shopping, going out to eat and gathering with friends and family. She also had a love for listening to Country Music and Gospel tunes.

Her infectious smile and laugh will be missed. A celebration of her life will be held in the near future, to be determined by the family, when Covid cases decrease.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in her name can be made to the Lebanon County Humane Society or to Alzheimers Disease Research.
