I would like to pass on my sincere condolences at Alvin’s passing. Our beautiful Mom (Hazel Archbold) would bring us to the farm that Alvin and Ruth owned outside Calmar. Mom had many cousins and family in the area but Mom and Ruth had a special friendship. We loved the farm. So much fun! Ruth was a great cook! Alvin drove fast and was a super farmer. I just had a touch from God and remembered this time in our families life and the really fun people that had us as guests in the summer.
