Emily Melick Huculak

May 4, 1926 - April 20, 2015

It is with a joyful sadness that the family of Millie Huculak announces her passing.

Millie resided in Edmonton at Miller Crossing Care Centre for the last 2 years and previously lived in the Leduc/Calmar area.

She is survived by, sons David(Charmaine) of Toronto, Clifford (Norma Jean) of Edmonton, Dale (LeAnne McKinnon) of Comox, eight grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.

Millie was predeceased by her husband Peter, son Dennis, brother Walter Melick and sister- in-law Doris Melick, twin sister Christine Kuzio and brother-in-law Peter Kuzio, parents Peter and Annie Melick.

Mourners have an opportunity for a time of private prayer and to pay their last respects at a viewing on May 3rd 2015 from 7pm - 9pm at Hainstock Funeral Home, 4802 – 47 Avenue, Leduc, AB.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday May 4th 2015 at Holy Trinity Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, 5023 – 48 Avenue in Calmar, AB with Father Gregory Faryna officiating. Interment to follow in the Church Cemetery.

A special thank you is extended to the staff at Miller Crossing Care Centre for their care and compassion shown to Millie and family during her time there and to the staff at Planeview Manor, Leduc, AB where she resided for several years.

In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made to a charity of one’s choosing.
