Ertman is survived by his wife of 73 years Helen; sons: Wayne, Norman, and Dennis; grandchildren: Ashley (Daniel), Kimberly, Matthew, Wendy, Kory (Dennis), Madisen and Maurghen (Shaun); great-grandchildren: Austin, Payton, Katherine, Phoenix, Annika, Victoria, Elizabeth and Bowen; great-great grandchild Faye; and brother, Walter.

Ertman was predeceased by his parents, Karl and Lucy Miller; brothers: Otto and Oscar and sister, Olga.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM, on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, at Peace Lutheran Church in Leduc, AB. Interment to follow at Leduc Municipal Cemetery.
