Evelyn “Ev” Ruth Walters was born on February 20, 1945, at Wetaskiwin Hospital to Ross and June Beath of Battle Lake, Alberta. She passed away peacefully on April 16, 2026, at Extended Care in Leduc, Alberta, at the age of 81, following a long and grueling battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Evelyn is survived by her husband, Kenneth “Ken” of Warburg; daughters, Pauline (Wayne) Dyck of Wizard Heights, Lorraine (Christopher) Garland of Warburg, Lynn (Melvin) Gulde of Wetaskiwin; son, Wesley (Josephine) Walters of St. Francis; sister, Elsie (Bob) Veitch of Evansburg; sister-in-law, Thelma Beath of Winterport Maine USA; plus eight grandchildren, eight great grandsons & many nieces and nephews.
Evelyn was predeceased by her parents, Ross & June Beath; sister, Bettymae (Bill) Bunney; brothers, Glenn (Lea) Beath, Raymond (Patricia) Beath, Lloyd Beath and by her youngest daughter and family Valerie (Bradley, Gabriel, Rebekah) Rusk all of Whitehorse, YT.
A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in Warburg Community Hall, 5335 50a Ave, Warburg, AB T0C 2T0.
