Jim was a proud and loving father to his daughter, Alex, and son, Nolan, who he spoke of with immense pride, always celebrating their accomplishments and the people they had become. He also shared a special bond with their beloved dog, Bailey.
Tracey, his wife of 28 years, was his partner in work and life. Together they built a life rooted in dedication, mutual respect and shared dreams.
Jim was an avid sports person coaching Nolan in ball, hockey and cheering Alex on in swimming, volleyball and rowing. His greatest enjoyment came from his love for golf and sharing that with his son Nolan every chance he had or listening to Alex as she navigated the completion of her degree and her next adventure.
Those who knew him will remember his quiet strength, his calm and steady presence, and the way he could bring a sense of peace to any situation. Stoic yet deeply caring, he offered support without hesitation and led by example in both his personal and professional life.
He will be profoundly missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
In lieu of donations the family requests you honor Jim’s memory by being a good dad, husband, and friend, and by showing kindness to those you love.
A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held at a later date.
