Left to cherish his memory are his two sons: Andy (Roslyn) and Mark (Alyson); grandchildren: O’Rian, Austyn, Brooklyn, and Jack; brother Toni (Kati, as well as close friend Margarete.
Mathew was predeceased by his wife of 43 years, Gerda.
Mathew lived a big life, seeing much of the world and was blessed to have many friends in his home country of Germany, as well as Mexico and Canada.
A Funeral Liturgy will be held at 11:00 AM, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, in St. Michael Catholic Church, 5105-45A Street, Leduc, AB.
