On February 2, 2015, Bob Washburn passed away peacefully at the age of 73 years with his daughter Michaela by his side.
Bob will be remembered by two sons, Shayne (Sandra) and Rob (Vickie) and one daughter Michaela (Michelle); nine grandchildren: Angelique, Matthew, Brooke, Kadie, Kieran, Cydnee, Siobhan, Charlie and Holden; nine great grandchildren: Shantelle, Trey, Tehya, Aspen, Samantha, Gabriel, Domanic, Izabella and Chyles; and one great-great grandchild Oakley. He is also remembered by his brother Peter (Betty) and many relatives and friends. Bob was predeceased by his wife Grace, daughter Wendy, brother Elwood and sister Vivian.
Funeral Service will be held on Friday February 6, 2015 at 1:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion 5210 50 Avenue Leduc.
In memory of Bob, donations may be made to the Black Gold Health Foundation Family Care Program, as having the family care suite at the Leduc Hospital and the outstanding care of the nurses and staff of Unit 22, is what allowed the final chapter of Bob’s journey to be the best it could possibly be.
