March 5, 1911 – March 7, 2014
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Selma on March 7, 2014 at the age of 103 years in Leduc, Alberta.
She is lovingly remembered by her children Stanford and Randall; grandchildren Darren (Shannon), Leanne, Michael, and Rhonda (Steve); great-grandchildren Emma and Kara; sister Ruth, and daughter-in-law Darlene.
She was predeceased by her husband Benjamin, son Kenneth, parents Gus and Minnie, sisters Herta and Lillian, daughters-in-law Mary and Cecily.
Funeral Service to be held on Monday March 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church (3 km South of Leduc on Hwy 2A, then East on Glen Park Road). Interment to follow in church cemetery.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Dr. Simard and the many nurses and caregivers at Leduc Extendicare for their care and compassion provided to our mom.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to First Baptist Church (Fredericksheim).
