It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Serge Bessette. He passed peacefully at home with his loving wife Carol Chekowski by his side on January 21, 2022. He was a loving husband, father, brother, son and friend. His fierce love and loyalty will be with us forever. Serge was the first born son of Armand and Carmen Nadeau/Bessette. He was born and raised in Montreal. Serge moved to Edmonton in 1995 and learned to speak English.
Serge is survived by his wife of 18 years Carol, his daughter Joannie, his brothers Michel (Sylvie), Daniel and Marc (Pamela) as well as extended family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hope Mission or a charity of one’s choice.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Norwood Legion 11150 – 82 Street Edmonton, AB
April 30, 2022 from 1:00 - 4:30 pm
