Violet is survived by her loving children, Betty (Kerry) Scharfenberg, Cathy (Philip) Turgeon and Larry Brand; grandchildren, Craig Scharfenberg, Jessica (Chris) VanHappen, Lisa (Peter) Broussard, Adam (Kaite) Turgeon, Jason (Chelsea) Turgeon, Jackie (Eric) Malmas, Michael (Taylor) Brand; as well as 11 great grandchildren, and her sister Frieda Currie.
Violet was predeceased by her husband Josef Brand in 2020.
The Family would like to thank the staff at Station 42 at the Gene Zwozdesky Centre Norwood for their exceptional care and compassion shown to our mother.
A private service will be held at the family's request.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the MS Society, or the Leduc and District Food Bank.
