Al was employed by Buffalo Rock for over 35 years. He attended Odenville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Alvin and Saraharte Byers.
Al is survived by his wife, Donna C. Byers; 3 sons: Rodney Byers (Karlessa), Jeremy Byers, and Zeke Byers (Cassey); 2 sisters: Lynn Brantley (Jed), and Judy Banks (Curtis); brother, Jimmy Byers (Karen); 6 grandchildren: Tyler, Tanner, Shane, Houston, Vylet, and Watson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 23, 2012 from 5 PM until 9 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Liberty Cemetery in Odenville, AL.
