She is preceded in death by her husband, Henry Franklin Sumner; sons Tommy Sumner, Robert Sumner, Carl J. Sumner.
She is survived by her sons Franklin E. Sumner, Donald B. Sumner; 9 grandchildren Pam Yates, Pam Young, Tonya Sumner, Donna Mullins, Tina Sumner, Joey Sumner, Jossett Burns, Rachel Watson, Rachel Schin, 19 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.
She retired from Amerex in Trussville, AL.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday July 28, 2015 at 2:00pm from the graveside at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashville.
