Ann Covington

Education: She attended Berry College and achieved her BS in Education, Magna Cum Laude. She received her Master’s in Mental Retardation and Psychometry from the University of Alabama. She used her education teaching at Cedar Bluff School for more than 25 years working with special needs children. She also taught Adult Literacy through Northeast Junior College and served as a Psychometrist for Cherokee County Board of Education. She loved her students and took a personal interest in their life and welfare.

Ann was an avid reader and enjoyed corresponding with friends and family through letters and cards. She had a beautiful singing voice and blessed all who heard her sing.

Predeceased by: Parents, Harvey and Gertrude Karr; Brother, James H Karr, Jr. (Frances); Husband, Dr. Robert C Covington; Brother-in-law, Jerry Partridge.
