

Anthony Dewayne Moore was born on March 11, 1969 to the union of Billy and Beatrice Moore whom proceed him in death. At a early age , he began developing a righteous path by being baptized and accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior at Little Rock Missionary Baptist Church Leeds, Al. “Tony” as we called him, made his Transition on December 30, 2021 at Grandview Hospital.
Tony was a graduate of Leeds High School class of 87’. After graduating he worked several jobs, before getting hired on at The Leeds Water Work’s Board on August 15th 1990 as a Crewman and later work his way up as a Superintendent over 33 years of employment.
Tony passion was Football which played very well. Tony dedicated his time to coaching youth and high school football. He enjoyed mentoring young men in the sport of football at Leeds and Moody School. Still involved in football he became an official referee for Birmingham Football Official Association and a member of the North Alabama Football Association for about 10years but Tony heart was in Coaching at Moody School. Tony is survived by sisters Kindra(Ed)Brown of Birmingham, Donna Williams of Leeds, Regina Herring of New York, Evangelist Annette(Tommy)Bailey, Brother Rev.Darryl Williams of Duham,NC. Special niece Akeir Gaddis, Best friend and Partner in Life, Lisa Braxton of Moody, Special Family Wayne and Barbara and Nathan Gardner, Rachel(Kendall) Sausley. Braxton Family daughters Jasmine(Jason)Kauhn,Natlie(Eric)Daniel, Sons J.T.(Lauren) Braxton, Max(Meagan)Braxton, Five grandchildrens. A host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, aunts uncles and friends.
Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Leeds on Friday, January 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church in Leeds on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Moton Cemetery in Leeds.
