Arthur Henderson Smith III died in his son's home in Odenville, AL on October 10, 2022. "Tres" as most knew him, was born on July 13, 1954 in Birmingham, AL. He was the oldest of four, born to Arthur Henderson Smith Jr. and Theresa Lemay Pope. Tres was a lover of music and specifically the guitar. He worked as a hardware specialist for most of his life.
He is preceded in death by his wife of many years, Jeanne Smith, and his father. He is survived by his mother, Theresa, his children Jessica Hicks (Wes) and Arthur Smith (Nicole), his two brothers Russell (Mimi) and Stephen Smith, his sister Janet Mollica, his grandson, Gavin Burttram, and many nieces and nephews.
There will be a celebration of life on October 29, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, AL, with visitation starting at 10 am and a service to follow at 11 am.
