Brenda Roberson Sumerel age 73, passed away on Friday July 9, 2021. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Findley Roberson and her second husband, Jack Sumerel; parents, William and Dorothy Surles; brother, W.J. Surles. She is survived by her daughters, Dottie (Fred) Jernigan and Julie (Welch) Wilkins; sister, Wanda Dorsett (Eddie) Coontz; brother, Don (Sandy) Surles; grandchildren, Cody Wilkins, Victoria Wilkins, Jason Jernigan and Terry Jernigan; special friend, Ray Savage; and a host of nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Monday July 12, 2021 from 12:00-1:00PM from the Branchville Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Odenville, Alabama with a service to follow at 1:00PM. Burial will be at Branchville Cemetery.
