Doyle "Danny" Weems

Doyle Lamar “Danny” Weems, 69, of Pell City, Alabama, passed away peacefully in his home after battling illness, March 29, 2022. He was born on August 10, 1952 in Irondale, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Smothers Weems, his father, David Aulton Weems, and 4 of his 7 siblings. He is survived by his loving wife, Shirley Andrews Weems, daughter Shalee Allen (Nick), son, David Weems(Stacie) and three beloved grandchildren: Matthew Tipton, Rachel Tipton, and Jacob Weems. He also leaves behind three siblings, Dale Weems, Gloria Piper (Dan), Tracy Weems, and brother-in-law, Bobby Andrews and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Mr. Weems was a graduate of St. Clair County High School and attended Bible Holiness Church of God in Leeds, Alabama. There will be a visitation for Mr. Weems Thursday March 31, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home at 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama 35094. The funeral service will be on Friday, April 1, 2022 beginning at 1:30 PM in the chapel at Kilgroe Funeral Home with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
