Edward Augustus Ash, age 83, of Sylacauga, AL passed away on Monday, September 14, 2015. He is preceded in death by his sisters, Juanita Ash Werdehoff and Sarah Geraldine Ash Tinney and brother, James Willard Ash. Mr. Ash was raised in St. Clair County but moved to Sylacauga after retiring from the Anniston Army Depot. He served his country by joining the United States Army as a cook during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Ash is survived by his brother, Charles P. Ash (Lois) best friend, Sonny Talton of Foley, AL, and numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 11:00am at Branchville Cemetery. Visitation will begin Wednesday morning at 10:00am until 10:30am.
