Mr. Wood was retired from Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department with over 30 years of service.
He is survived by his daughters, Teri Robinson (Bryan), Leslie Trabert (Quinn), father, Edwin H. Wood, sister, Beverly Wood, grandchildren, Brent Robinson, Emily Robinson and Xander Trabert.
The family will receive friends at 1 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be at 2 PM on Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
