Gene is survived by his mother, Ann Hartsfield; his brothers Patrick Hartsfield (Mark) and Jeremy Hartsfield; special niece Madelyn Hartsfield; and numerous cousins and friends. Gene is preceded in death by his father, Gene Hartsfield, Sr; grandparents Ethridge and Inez Partridge and Berril "Bit" and Hester Hartsfield; Special Aunt Marie Matthews; and other aunts and uncles.
A graveside service will be held at Lawley's Chapel Cemetery. The service is scheduled for December 28, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 2:30 pm.
