Genevieve “Ginny” Gould, 79, of Leeds, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2020. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Gould, her daughter, Ginger Gould, and her parents, Doris Isbell and William Turner Owen; stepfather,Ray Isbell. Mrs. Gould is survived by her daughters, Melissa Hopson (Chris) and Renee Bowen (Thomas), a brother, Turner Owen, grandchildren, James Bowen (Janet), Jason Bowen (Anna), Keylee Pomp, (Walter), Kaylin Hopson (Matt), Lizzy Witte and Katie Witte, great-grandchildren, Dekota Caldwell and Hera Pomp. Visitation will be on Monday, May 11, 2020 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home with a chapel service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will then follow at Forest Crest Cemetery in Birmingham, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in memory of Mrs. Gould to the Greater Birmingham Humane Society 300 Snow Drive, Homewood, AL 35209.
