Mr. Huffman was on the Moody City Council for 25 years, former Assistant Fire Chief of Moody, Member of Howlin Maddog Marine Corps League and a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church for 45 years. He was retired from AT&T with 40 years. His hobbies included camping in the Smokey Mountains, building and collecting model airplanes and cars and working on his 1964 Ford Thunderbird.
He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Mary Ruth Huffman; daughters, Debra Hayes (Jimmy), Sherry Huffman, Susan Fagan (Thomas); sons, Carl Huffman (Tamra), Steve Huffman (Dani Sue); 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at St. Theresa Catholic Church on Tuesday, January 3, 2017 beginning at 9:30AM. Funeral Services will be at 11AM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
