Glenith Kirk Westbrook (88) of Pinson, Alabama died February 4, 2021. She was preceded in death her husband, Howard Ward Westbrook, her son, George Kirk Westbrook, her parents, George Felix Kirk, Sr., and Daisy Finch Kirk, her brothers George Felix Kirk, Sr., James Cecil Kirk, and their sisters Marie Kirk Shelnutt and Gertherlene Kirk.
She is survived by her son Stephen Ward Westbrook, (Wanda). Her grandchildren include David Kirk Westbrook (Tiffany) Stephanie Nicole Westbrook (Stewart), Adam Kirk Westbrook (Christy) and Sarah Westbrook Trefethen (Van). Her nephews are Jerry Shelnutt (Linda) Charles Shelnutt (Pam) Shan Kirk, Sr. Her nieces Sherell Kirk, Yvonne Kirk, Cecilia Kirk, Janice Kirk Blanton, and Theresa Kirk Smith.
She graduated Shades Valley High School in Birmingham, Alabama. She worked at the Social Security Administration for 25 years.
Services for Glenith Kirk Westbrook will be held Monday, February 8th, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the graveside at Cedar Grove Cemetery. Services with be conducted by her Pastor Vaughn Stafford.
