Mr. Moreland served four terms as Mayor of Odenville. He was employed 58 years with Sunnyland/Ventura Foods and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Margaret Moreland, son, Scott Moreland (Elise), sisters, Bobbie Blair, Mary Gurosky ( Pete), brothers, Charles Moreland Jr. (Martha), Thomas Moreland (Linda), Ken Moreland, grandchildren, John Carter Moreland, Travis Smith, Emily Forsythe and great grandson, John Michael Forsythe.
The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 8 PM on Monday, December 01, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at
11 AM with burial at Branchville Cemetery.
