James Saxon

James Saxon, age 88, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2022. He was a member of Phi Kappa Tau while at Auburn as well as a member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers. He served as chairman of Auburn's Alumni Engineering Council and served as Director of National Security Group. James also was a member of First Baptist Church in Leeds.

James is survived by his wife of 67 years, Grady Sue Loftin Saxon; daughter, Kathy Weathers (John) and son Jay Saxon (Pam) and grandchildren, Rebecca Weathers and James Weathers.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at First Baptist Leeds from 2:00PM until 3:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at First Baptist Church Leeds beginning at 3:00PM. Graveside will take place in Auburn, on Friday, December 30, 2022 with a time to be set in the upcoming days.
