

Jerri Ladean Busby was born January 25, 1937 at home in Trafford, Al. She grew into a beautiful, intelligent, caring, sassy, thoughtful, artistic, colorful women who was ahead of her time. As a graduate of Jacksonville High School in 1955, she was a member of the Beta Club and National Honor Society. Her talent and interest would lead her to become a commercial artist with the Birmingham Yellow Pages, Huntsville Blue Book and Hallmark Inc. In later years she worked as an AT&T information operator. Some of her many interests were gardening, Alabama Football, watching old movies, reading and traveling to fun places. She enjoyed spending time with family most of all. One of her favorite saying was "Life is short-eat dessert first " and she did. Her life was a banquet of many places and people that touched her life, strengthen her faith and influenced her life's journey. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Cloe Pugh, husband Grover Busby, grandson Benjamin Owens, brother n law Doug Rich and her beloved cat Lady. She is survived by sister Faye Rich (Doug), daughter Shawn Mccreless (Cliff), grandchildren Brandy Beverly (Darrell), Jonathan Owens (Angie) great-grandchildren Gavin Owens (Jessica), Joshua Owens, Iris Owens, Aleah Beverly, Justyce Beverly, niece Robyn Mulloy, nephews Brian Rich, Barry Rich. Along with extended family and friends. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. Rest in peace Mom.
