Smith, Jesse Willard Sr. age 80, of Odenville, AL passed away August 30, 2013 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham, AL. Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Lavada Smith of Iuka, MS; brother, Milford Smith of Center Point, AL; sister, Juanita Easter of Iuka, MS; and sister, Naomi Carr of Shreveport, LA.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beulah Smith, son, Jesse W. Smith, Jr. (Kathy); daughter, Janet Jackson (Jeff); daughter, Jeanne Watson (Danny); 8 grandchildren, Joe Smith, Christy Watson, Jessica Hollis (Brian), Daniel Watson (Holly), Dewayne Jackson (Sarah), Stacy Dollar (Josh), Josh Smith and Jennifer Jackson, and 8 great grandchildren; Cory Smith, Adelay Watson, Madalynn Hollis, Silas Dollar, Ianthe Watson, Gideon Dollar, Jude Watson and Cooper Jackson, Sisters, Donna Roberson of Southaven, MS, Dot Walker of New Port Richey, FL, sister in law, Edna Smith Workman, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held on Wednesday, September 4, 2013 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Chapel with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
