Mr. Grimes served in the U. S. Air Force.
He is survived by his wife, Adrienne Grimes, daughter, Andrea Parker, sons, Dennis Grimes, Nick Allen Grimes, brothers, John Earl Grimes (Dorothy), Joseph T. Grimes, Raymond Barry Grimes (Rebecca), 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds on Sunday, September 7, 2014 from 2 PM until 4 PM.
Service will be held at Kilgroe Leeds Chapel on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 12:30 PM. Graveside Services will be held Monday, September 8, 2014 at 2:45 PM from Alabama National Cemetery.
