John P. Fleming

John P. Fleming, age 93 of Leeds, AL went to be with the Lord April 29, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Gladys Brasher Fleming, parents, Oppie Otto Fleming Sr. and Leona Fleming, brothers, Oppie Otto Fleming Jr., Martin A. Fleming, Charles Fleming, Lewis Fleming, sisters, Helen Land, Margaret Gallups and granddaughter, Heather F. Pritchett. John was a Charter Member of Valley View Baptist Church and Deacon Emeritas. He lived his life glorifying God. He will be sorely missed by friends and family.

He is survived by his 3 sons, Johnny Fleming (Linda), Larry Fleming (Donna), Danny Fleming, 1 daughter, Glenda Downing (Randy), 1 sister, Edna Dillard (William), 2 brothers, Robert Fleming (Melba), James Fleming, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held, Saturday, May 2, 2015 at Valley View Baptist Church at 10AM.

Funeral Services will be at Valley View Baptist Church on Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 11AM with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
