Johnnie Travis Ray

Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Clay Ray; father, Henry Ray; mother, Ruby M. Alvis; Woodrow Alvis who raised him as his own son; brother, Willie Arvil Ray and grandson, Blake Moody. Mr. Ray was retired from Pemco Target Division in 2000. He was a Charter Member of the Civitans Club in Dunnavant, Leeds City County from 1988 – 1996 and District #4 Pee Wee League Commissioner.

He is survived by his wife, Erma J. Ray; daughter, Tammy Womble (Donnie); sisters, Faye Castleberry (Comer); Pat Dement (Earl); grandchildren, Angie Moody (Darryl); Chris Womble (Dyanna); Alan Moody (Mary); Amanda Moody; great grandchildren, Zach and Paige McAuley, Tyler and Josh Womble, J. B. and Jasmine Payton.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
