He is survived by his wife, Vicky Simmons; daughters: Misty Hatcher & Marcia Simmons; Sons: Terry Hatcher (Amanda) and Heath Simmons (Rebecca); sisters: Jo Ann Rivers, Charlene Simmons Rowland, Helen Davis & Diane Wilcox; brother, Steve Simmons; grandchildren: Chandler Hatcher, Jarred Hatcher, Boone Simmons, Bella Simmons, Sharon Addington, Jacob Addington, Brook, Dalton, & Peyton.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2012. The funeral service will be Monday, February 13, 2012 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds with burial to follow at Forest Crest Cemetery in Irondale.
